Join us in raising funds for scholarships.
Children of parents diagnosed with cancer often assume additional responsibilities inside, and outside of the home. Despite the added challenges, many children continue to excel both socially and academically - a sign of resilience.
Historically, Black and African American families have been disproportionately affected in various ways as a result of serious health conditions and the costs associated with treatment. The Helix Scholarship offers support to such families preparing children for college. The first scholarship was awarded to a Maryland high school student in 2021.
